Licensing and regulation in the United Kingdom

Begin using Aureo Flowdex with confidence and transparency. We carry out our activities in line with the laws and regulations that apply in the United Kingdom, and we use methods designed for operational transparency, data protection, information security and compliance with the rules that apply to a technology business in this field.

The tables below show the bodies whose rules touch our services and the basis on which we operate. Where a registration or authorisation exists, its details are provided to clients on request.

Regulation

Aureo Flowdex operates within the legal framework of the United Kingdom that governs services connected to digital assets and cryptoassets, including the financial promotions rules, the anti-money laundering regime and the UK data protection rules that apply across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

What each rule means for you

Regulation can sound abstract. These are the practical effects you will notice as a client.

Clear financial promotions

Anything we publish about our services must be fair, clear and not misleading, and must carry a visible risk warning. Where UK rules call for a pause before a first investment or a check that a product suits you, we apply it before you can proceed.

Identity checks

Under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 we must know who our clients are. That is why a photo ID and proof of address are requested before your first deposit or withdrawal.

Control over your data

UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you the right to see, correct and delete your data. Our Privacy Policy explains how to use those rights.

A route for complaints

You can complain to us at any time, and our Complaints page describes the process and the independent routes that may be open to you afterwards.

Transparency about regulation

Aureo Flowdex aims to maintain the registrations, permissions and compliance procedures required for the services we provide, in each relevant area of UK law. If a requirement changes, we update this page and the affected documents.

Regulation does not remove investment risk and it does not guarantee a profit. Cryptoassets can move sharply in price, and they are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Please read the risk disclosure in full before you deposit.

If you would like to confirm any registration or have a question about the rules above, write to [email protected] and the Client Support and Compliance team will reply.
